Biography
Assistant Professor of Finance at COPPEAD/UFRJ. He received his BA in Economics from PUC-Rio and his MSc and PhD in Economics from FGV EPGE, where he currently holds a Post-Doctoral Fellowship. Flavio was a Visiting Scholar in the Finance Department at Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University. He has taught undergraduate and graduate courses in Finance, Statistics, Econometrics, Microeconomics, and Math at IBMEC-RJ and FGV EESP. Flavio has also worked as a coordinator in research and development for credit risk modeling at Banco Itaú Unibanco, as a consultant in analytical projects and corporate courses, and as an economist at the Secretary of Economic Development of the City Hall of Rio de Janeiro. Flavio has presented papers at important national and international conferences, such as LACEA LAMES, Conference on Empirical Legal Studies, and SBE.
