Biography
Eduardo H. Diniz, professor at Escola de Administração de Empresas de São Paulo, Fundação Getulio Vargas since 1999 and with Coppead, Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro, since 2016. Head of Department of Technology and Data Science (2018-2021) at FGV, Editor-in-Chief of Revista de Administração de Empresas, GVexecutivo, and GVcasos (2009-2016). Authored and coauthored numerous academic papers on financial inclusion at top international conferences and journals. Researching information systems implications for social and environmental development, Prof. Diniz was Visiting Scholar with the University of California, Berke- ley (1996–98), HEC Montréal (2007), Erasmus University (2016–2017), and University of Glasgow (2022–2023). He is Bellagio Fellow, appointed by the Rockefeller Foundation in 2014, and Researcher with the Center for Microfinance and Financial Inclusion, FGVcemif since 2007.
