Center os studies in Analysis and Intuition in Decision Markin


The Study Center focused on the investigation of the role of intuition and analysis in decision making was formed in COPPEAD in the 90s and the early studies concentrated attention on financially driven decisions. More recently, the research line has expanded its scope to incorporate rationality (or not) of any decisions that would be of interest to the management.



The line of research has already generated a significant volume of academic output including dissertations, doctoral theses and several academic publications, conveyed through periodic and/or national and international conferences. Research products on the theme include also the offer of subjects in masters and doctoral courses at COPPEAD, as well as seminars in executive education programs of the school.
